Easter Reflection

With Easter holidays having come and gone, what apart from chocolate wrappers are we left with?

There has been a change upon the supermarkets shelves, they are no longer filled with Easter eggs. But is that what Easter was all about? Is our value really shown by how many eggs we received on Easter Sunday? Don’t get us wrong, we love chocolate but we believe Easter brings a message far beyond Cadburys, Mars and Nestlé, that satisfies us much deeper and longer than chocolate ever could.

Easter is the time when we are reminded that God loved the world so much that he did something about the brokenness, pain and suffering we see. He brought hope into the world by Jesus’ life, death and resurrection: that one day all that would come to an end. This is a hope that Christians have now and we see glimpses of that hope as God works today.

“I wonder what this message of hope at Easter continues to looks like in your world, in your school and in your life?“

2.1 Billion people around the world celebrated the message of hope at Easter, did you?
