It's time for lent what are you giving up this year?

So here we are in the midst of lent, some of us are storming ahead making giving something up look easy whilst others of us just cant keep our eyes off the chocolate. How are you coping? Here in the Leeds Faith in Schools office we have given up some of our favorite things that we felt threatened to rule our lives. Why? Because the period of Lent leads up to Easter week when Jesus died and rose from the dead.  We as Christians want to be willing to make sacrifices in our lives so that we might become more like Jesus.
